A Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Trevor’s passion for training and coaching begin in the year 2000. He served as a LUTC Moderator to facilitate and equip young aspiring professionals with skills, knowledge and professional ethics to improve the standards of the financial services industry.
As Executive Director of Yong-en Care Centre, he led a team of 22 staff in the running of 4 core social services in the Chinatown area. His role as agency head has enabled him to sharpen his coaching and people development skills. The journey caused him to see life from a different perspective as he encountered some individuals who in the face of overwhelming adversity have developed tremendous resilience. This birth his passion to help young and senior learners discover the ‘best’ version of themselves and live out their full potential.
Currently, he is as Head, Community Engagement in his church. His role is to mobilize the church in reaching and serving the needs of residents in Punggol. Using his talent themes of Harmony and Arranger, he helps church members build consensus and strengthen collaborations within the church as well as with community stakeholders.
Using his 15 plus years of experience and training as a Certified Financial Planner, he brings financial literacy to the public as an Associate Trainer at the Institute for Financial Literacy. His passion is to equip individuals with the necessary skills to make good and sound financial decisions.
Trevor holds a Bachelor Degree in Business from the University of Oregon, Eugene. Married to San San, they have 3 young adult children plus a teenager.
